Welcome to the Herd MSL (ABN: 86 001 720 921 – authorised party to act on behalf of Microsoft Australia) competition in partnership with The Daily Aus (ABN: 19 636 427 408). By participating in this competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before entering. The competition organiser/promoter of this competition is The Daily Aus (TDA), Surry Hills, Sydney.

Entry requirements:

Each referral that results in a new subscriber to The Daily Aus newsletter will count as a single entry into the competition. Referrals must be processed through TDA’s referral program to be correctly attributed to the participant. There are no restrictions on the number of referrals participants may make, therefore each additional referral will increase the participant’s number of entries.

Competition period:

The competition commences on 17 July 2023 at 7:00 am AEST and closes on 28 July 2023 at 5:00 pm AEST. Any entries received after the closing time will not be considered.

Prize:

The prize consists of 1 x Surface Pro 5 (RRP$1999+) and 1 x Limited Edition Indigenous-designed Surface wrap which Microsoft launched for NAIDOC week. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or refundable and cannot be taken as cash.

Winner selection and notification:

The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the competition period. The winners will be notified via email from [email protected] only. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim their prize within 7 days, the prize will be forfeited, and a new winner will be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries.

Prize delivery:

TDA will provide the email address of the winner to Microsoft, who will arrange for the Surface Pro 5 to be sent within 5 business days. Microsoft is not responsible for any technical issues, including but not limited to email delivery failure, which may delay or prevent the prize from being received by the winner.

Redemption:

To redeem the prize, the winner must respond to the email sent by TDA and provide Microsoft with their shipping information within 7 days.

General:

Participants agree that Microsoft, TDA, and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever arising from participation in this competition or from the awarding, acceptance or use of the prize. Microsoft and TDA reserve the right to cancel or modify the competition at any time without prior notice.
