New data from the Federal Government’s Australian Cyber Security Centre has found that a cybercrime is reported every seven minutes on average in Australia.
Cybercrime reports increased by 13% in the 2021/22 financial year, compared to 2020/21.
Losses from cyberattacks on businesses and employees rose to over $98 million.
