Andrew Tate has been arrested in Romania along with his brother Tristan, according to local media.

Tate has previously been banned from social media platforms for misogynistic comments and hate speech.

The arrests relate to an investigation into suspected human trafficking, rape and the formation of an organised crime group.

There are reports authorities were able to make the arrests based on identifying details in a video tweeted by Andrew Tate yesterday.

The video was part of a Twitter exchange with climate activist Greta Thunberg, who suggested Tate had “small dick energy” after he tagged her in a tweet listing his high-emissions cars.

Tate’s subsequent video response to Thunberg included a pizza box from ‘Jerry’s Pizza’, a Romanian pizza chain.
