One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has sacked Mark Latham as leader of the parliamentary party in NSW due to poor results in the state election this year.
In a Facebook post, Latham called Hanson’s decision “bizarre” and said he intended to defy the decision and remain as leader.
“If she is worried about under-performance, her best solution is to buy a mirror,” he said.
Latham, a former federal Labor leader, is a member of the NSW Upper House.
He is currently being sued for defamation by Independent NSW MP Alex Greenwich for a homophobic slur. Hanson publicly criticised the slur.
