Sydney set for busiest weekend since 2000 Olympics

A combination of concerts, sporting events, and World Pride festivities have primed Sydney for its busiest weekend since it hosted the 2000 Olympics, according to NSW Transport Chief Operations Officer Howard Collins. About 70,000 people are expected to fill Accor Stadium both tonight and tomorrow to see Harry Styles perform.

Also at Sydney Olympic Park, the Sydney Kings will open their basketball grand final series tonight against the New Zealand Breakers. Backstreet Boys will then be performing at Qudos Bank Arena on Saturday and Sunday. An estimated 50,000 people will take part in the Pride March across the Harbour Bridge on Sunday morning, before the official Bondi Beach party kicks off in the afternoon.
