Jarryd Hayne is returning to rugby league after six years away from the sport, part of which was spent in jail on sexual assault charges.

It comes after he won an appeal to have his sexual assault conviction quashed earlier this month.

It comes more than a year after the former Parramatta Eels star was found guilty of sexually assaulting a woman in 2018 and sentenced to a maximum of four years and nine months in prison.
