Over 30% of young Australians aged 20 to 29 had been underpaid superannuation in the 2021/22 financial year.

The Shop, Distributive and Allied Employees’ Association estimates that more than 20,000 current and former employees are owed backpay.

The Fair Work Ombudsman (FWO) has discovered 250,000 workers were underpaid in the 2022-23 financial year.
