The Assembly features a collective of autistic journalism students, mentored by ABC veteran journalist Leigh Sales. Students interview some of Australia’s biggest names, from Hamish Blake to the Prime Minister. The series has sparked broader discussions around representation, highlighting the strengths of neurodiversity in a way you might not have seen on screen before. To talk us through the Assembly and its broader impact, Leigh Sales joins us in today’s deep dive.
