In the aftermath of the Bondi terror attack, a website using the domain thedailyaus.world published an article about the incident.

We received multiple DMs from you notifying us that the copycat site had published a completely fake story, filled with false names, timelines, and quotes.

An article published on the fake website about the civilian hero who disarmed one of the attacker initially called him “Edward Crabtree”. The man has since been identified as Ahmed Al Ahmed.
